Not sleeping properly can result in us getting stressed anxious and bad tempered, it can affect numerous areas of our lives, at work, home and socially we can be affected by our lack of sleep.
Life can become hard to cope with if we have no energy and motivation due to a lack of sleep. our sleep problem can then become our main focus and make things worse, after all if your worrying weither or not your going to sleep at night that is exactly the thing which will keep you awake!
Sleeping to much can also be a huge problem for some clients and this often will be the case if the client is depressed, there are certain phases during our complex sleeping pattern that use a lot of our energy up and so we can become totally exhausted if we are sleeping to much, and then of course if we are exhausted we want to sleep more often and so it goes on in a negative spiral, the more we sleep the more exhausted we become.
